Follow this guide to setup your ShieldNode RPC in as little as 3 minutes. Whether you are a tech person or not our Telegram bot makes getting secured on the Ethereum Network as easy as it gets. Enjoy Enhanced Privacy, Optimized Speed, MEV Immunity, and Ethereum Rewards when you browse with ShieldNode RPC.
Express Users please follow the guide up until Step 3. Custom Users please skip Step 3 and continue until the end of the guide.
Start by typing /Start into your Telegram DMs with @ShieldNodeBot. Select "RPC".
If you are a normal user of the Ethereum Network, please select "Express Setup". Advanced users can have more control over their RPC by selecting "Custom Options".
After selecting "Express Setup" you will be shown this page. Click on "Copy RPC URL" and then follow the instructions to use your RPC with the wallet of your choice. If you require more assistance please reach out to a member of our team on Telegram.
After selecting "Custom Options" you will be presented with this page. These are the Block Builders that are responsible for handling your transactions. Allowing more Block Builders to handle your transactions means they will be executed faster, but with less privacy. Feel free to research each Block Builder before confirming their inclusion in your RPC.
Once you have selected your Block Builders we can now choose your Options. "Full Privacy" maximizes your privacy settings giving you our best security option. "Default Privacy" is our regular setting designed for most users with a healthy balance between private transactions and a reasonable reward rate. "All Logs" - The logs are information that is emitted in a transaction. "Default Logs" - Only share the Swap info of a transaction. "Contract" - Sharing of the contract address that was interacted with. "Calldata" - Share the information that was requested from the smart contract. "Function Selector" - The 4-byte code for the function that is being called.
Once you have determined your level of Privacy, you will now be prompted to setup your Refund Address to receive the ETH Rewards. You can also select the share of the Refunds that you would like to request from the Block Builder, with a higher percentage meaning less likely to be refunded. Once you have completed all of the options to your satisfaction, select "Confirm" and you will be given your RPC URL to copy. Please follow the instructions provided by the bot to import your new RPC URL into the wallet of your choice.
Whether you selected Express or Custom you will now be enjoying your new ShieldNode RPC. Enjoy faster Browsing, Trading, and Transactions with unmatched security on the Ethereum Network.
